ATATÜRK WANTS TO LISTEN THE MUSIC CONCERT GIVEN TO THE KING OF JORDAN
Five or six months later Gouvernor Mr. Üstündağ said in a flurry:
- You gave a fasıl music concert to the Emir of Jordan. What have you done?
- I swore we had not done anything bad.
- No, not bad, you did well and for this reason Atatürk personally wants to
listen to the same pieces of music.
We gathered again, although some of our friends were absent, and went to
Dolmabahçe palace that night.
Atatürk said:
- I keep receiving letters from the Emir of Jordan. He always writes about
your music and thanks me. I wondered what you have done that made him glad. I
also wish to listen to the same music program.
